An interesting financial update

Gary Bandy has inspired me with this rewrite of a finance report. He revolutionised the title by adding the key message. 

Then he served up what I want to know:
- what's happened
- why it happened
- why it matters. 

A special award goes to his bare-bones table layout 

Look at what he hasn't included!
- No column lines
- No row lines, except for 2 very light-grey lines to emphasise the surplus

He left-aligned text and right-aligned numbers. I'm happy!
