Making it easier to pay parking fines

Palmerston North City Council has cleaned up their webpage on parking fines. 

It's a finalist for the Best Plain Language Turnaround at this year's Awards, the category for documents that have been overhauled for readers.

Four actions now one click away

The new page gives us three actions to take with our ticket, and an option to find out more about parking fines. 

Each of the 4 headings is a link you can click. It turns pink and underlined when you hover over it.

My guess is a user test would show that people can now funnel through this page in a few seconds, getting on to the action they came here to take.
